It is that time again, and we hope you and your children are as excited as we are to start another school year. I hope this letter finds our families happy and well. It has been a spectacular summer albeit the drought that has caused difficulty for our local farmers and gardeners.

We are 100% committed to doing what is best for kids. ASRSD has exemplary teachers who care about their students. Just as important as providing an excellent education, is ensuring your child is happy and feels emotionally and physically safe. Please never hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or principal with concerns. Research provides solid evidence that strong parent-school engagement and open communication positively contribute to a child’s success in school.

Please take a moment to read the “Panther News, 2015-2016 Year in Review". We hope you are proud of the many accomplishments in the school district. These would not have been possible without the hard work and dedication of our staff, students, and parents.

Late last spring we circulated a Parent Satisfaction Survey and committed to sharing the results with you. We aim to please and your feedback tells us just that. Most seem satisfied with the school system, but we will never rest on our laurels. We want to be the best school district in the state!
