Our vision is to connect, engage, and inspire every student to reach academic excellence. The educators of the Ayer Shirley Regional School District will instill habits of reflection and inquiry that challenge our students to set ambitious academic and personal goals. Students will develop a strong voice to express thoughts and ideas in the community, the confidence to showcase their talents, and academic and personal successes in preparation for entry into college and the world of work.

Summer Vacation Mode

Dear Page Hilltop Parents / Guardians:

As we head into summer vacation mode, the nice weather pattern continues. Summer is a time to relax and re-energize. It is a time for making memories with family and friends, for writing about your adventures, for visiting new places, for learning through different experiences and for READING, READING, READING! We all have fond memories of sunny summer days!

At Page Hilltop we are busily preparing for the school opening on August 30th. When you walk through the doors of the school, you will see many exciting changes. We look forward to offering all of our students an enriching educational experience.

If your child is returning as a current PHES student, we look forward to seeing him / her ready for new adventures and challenges. If your child will be attending PHES for the first time.welcome to our school community.
There are several important events that you should plan to attend and we would like to provide those dates so that you may plan ahead:

  • Building Tours: Monday, August 22nd from 10:00am - 1:00pm & 3:00pm - 6:00pm.  These tours are open to all students and families. You may attend either of the sessions and come to school at whatever time is most convenient for you. Please note that this is not a time to meet teachers but rather to tour the school and ask questions.  Following your tour, please enjoy a sno-cone treat on us.
  • First Day of School: Tuesday, August 30th for grades 1 - 12. All preschoolers and kindergarten students will be attending screenings and / or orientations the first three days and will begin classes on Tuesday, September 6th.  First PTO Meeting - Thursday, September 8th @ 7:00 pm.
  • Welcome Back Picnic & Open House - Thursday, September 22nd

Special Notes: School Registration is on-going throughout the summer. Please visit our district website for additional information: www.asrsd.org

We hope that ALL of our students are taking part in our summer reading program and will be attending the "Hoops & Scoops" celebration in September!

If you have any additional questions at all, please feel free to contact me at: fdeppe@asrsd.org

Happy Summer and Keep Reading!!
